Exterior Services

Prop Wash Aviation Services offers exterior cleaning and detailing services customized to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.  Whether you're needing a quick spot wash during a layover or a full detail of the exterior with carbon staining and soot removal, or you just need someone to get underneath and give your aircraft a good belly scrub, we've got you covered.  All of our cleaning and detailing services are water-free, meeting the restrictions and regulations put in place at many airports by the EPA.  If you wish to have a water wash, we can accommodate you.  Just let us know!  Our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and are designed for, and approved by, the aviation industry.  Also, ask us how you can save up to 40% off our services through an annual service agreement! 

 

Our exterior cleaning and detailing services include:

Spot Wash - Starting at $120

  • Great for turnarounds and layovers!

  • All leading edges are cleaned free of bugs, dirt, and other contaminants.

  • All glass and windscreens are cleaned and treated to be hydrophobic and resistant to future bug/debris attachment and buildup.

  • All lighting components, including lenses/covers, are cleaned and treated.

  • Fresh soot buildup is removed from nacelles and around engine exhaust ports (where applicable).

Wash & Wax - Starting at $250

  • Clean all leading edges and windscreens.

  • Remove excess oil and contaminant buildup from belly of aircraft.

  • Extend flaps/slats and clean all control surfaces.

  • Clean landing gear.

  • Apply spray-on wash & wax product, with nano-tech polymers, to all surfaces of the aircraft.  Remove contaminants and then buff remaining wax coating to a shine.

Full Detail - Starting at $500

Includes all of the items performed during a standard Wash & Wax PLUS:

  • Deep cleaning of all the nooks and crannies.

  • Cleaning of all visible rivets, bolts, screws, aerials, and external components.

  • Cleaning of gear wells

  • Soot/carbon staining removal from bellies/nacelles

  • Application of SiO2 ceramic coating, providing fully hydrophobic, UV protected, and contaminant resistant surfaces over the entire aircraft.
